# Company selection and creation
Switch between companies and create a new company
By clicking the three dots, the management options linked to the user are shown — for example those of the environment administrator.
By expanding the current company, the company selector appears, allowing you to switch between companies.
## Create a new company
As an environment administrator, you can also create a new company:
1. Set the company to active.
2. Enter the name. It will appear everywhere as the company name.
3. Optionally, enter a description. This is purely explanatory and will not be shown.
4. Choose the company color. It is used for headings in documents.
